Chris - if still skiing or walking the mountains remain in your present we have a place in Oz en Oisans - alpes d’huez you are welcome to use. I remember the first boat club / ski trip at age 14 - “Roche moutonnees …alluvial flood plains … look at the striations on the rocks as the land burst upwards.,,,” . That was Aprica - you see the same from Grenoble to L’Oisans and I will always remember my “skinitiation “
