🚣 Rowing the Thames - Sponsored Ergathon 2026
On Sunday 6th September 2026, Windsor Boys' School Boat Club will take on an ambitious sponsored Ergathon challenge at Windsor Yards.
Our rowers will work together to virtually row the entire length of the River Thames, from its source in Gloucestershire to the Thames Barrier in London, covering an incredible 215 miles on rowing machines.
Throughout the day, the team will pass key rowing landmarks including Reading, Henley, Marlow, Windsor, Dorney Lake, Egham and Putney, tracking their progress as they journey down the river. Every metre rowed will help raise funds to support opportunities for our young athletes.
